In this way, the information minister’s family organization, NNK Foundation, has been distributing food to hungry people four days a week (Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday) for the past two years. Some days Biryani; some other days, khichuri with fried fish; sometimes, vegetable khichuri or egg khichuri, and sometimes khichuri with chicken are distributed.

Abdul Mannan, a 50-year-old who came to take lunch on Friday, said, “Due to old age, there is no opportunity to earn money. I get food at the minister’s house four days a week. The food is delicious. I got a lot of help even during the coronavirus. I pray to Allah, may Allah grant the minister long life and keep him healthy.

Shipa Roy, an old lady who came to take food with her lathi, said, ‘No husband, no children. If I get it, I eat; if I don’t get it, I fast. I have been coming here every time since the time of Corona to take food. I prayed to God for the minister.

It is known that not only food distribution, since its establishment, but NNK Foundation has also stood by millions of people in various ways. Especially during the terrible days of Corona, the organization has supported the hungry people with food, clothes, cash, and food items every day. The gift of love has been delivered home to home following the government restrictions in strict lockdown. This unique initiative of the Information Minister’s family has caught the attention of Chittagong residents.
