Dhaka: A total of 1,76,282 got GPA-5 (maximum grade point average) in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations-2022 held under 11 education boards in the country.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni made the disclosure at a press conference at International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) in the city on Wednesday.

A total of 85.95 per cent of students, on average, passed the HSC and equivalent exams.

A total of 11,77,387 students appeared in this year’s examinations.

Among the examinees, 10,11,987 students have been successful in the HSC and equivalent examinations.
