Dhaka: The Election Commission (EC) has halted all services regarding the National Identity Card (NID) temporarily as the NID server will undergo maintenance.
Confirming the matter, EC Information System Management (NID) Assistant Programmer Aminul Islam told the media that the service will remain halted from September 19 morning to 2pm on September 20.
Previously, the NID server was kept closed for almost 38 hours from August 14 midnight to avert the risk of a cyber-attack.
